Ideal

People search for the ideal when the real is right in front of their noses. When you've been in a relationship for a long time, you become accustomed to having that person by your side and the butterflies die down whenever you're with them. Sometimes, you seek other ways to have that kind of feeling. This is when the ideal comes in. The ideal which will never last, never be real and never satisfy you. Your current relationship is everything you'd ever need. The ideal relationship is everything you'd ever want. Obviously your wants are unlimited (the economic problem, haha) and so you'll never be satisfied. 

There will come to a time when your grasp on the real loosens ... well, it already would have started unhinging when you began searching for the ideal. You'll be faced with a dilemma - reality or the ideal? 

It's so sad when people choose the ideal, and it happens very often. It's also sad when a person thinks of you as their ideal when you know that you're not as good as who they think you are and in retrospection, they'll count you as just another one of their mistakes.
